Crazy delicious! Cork Fire Kitchen is located at Temecula Creek Inn. And they serve brunch everyday!
We harvested our grapes on Tuesday, Sept 10, 2019. This Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Malbec was inoculated with a Bordeaux yeast the next day. Here is a short video of a punch down from yesterday. The primary fermentation is likely to be completed in 7 to 10 days.
With our invited guests Trixie knows to remain shy and playful. Then when she senses a threat near the ranch, she morphs into beast mode. It’s hard to imagine a better livestock guardian than Trix, our 8-month old Great Pyrenees. Gentle when you want her to be, a gladiator when she needs to be.

Trixie is starting to figure out she's a livestock guardian, and showing us everyday. She's shy with friends and guests, but not so shy with perceived threats. When she becomes an adult we will have her to spend a lot of time watching over our mini Pygmy goats.
Excerpt from Destination Temecula
Temecula Valley enjoys a wonderful microclimate created by a location sandwiched between the Salton Sea in the Anza-Borrego Desert to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The Salton Sea is generally the lowest pressure area in California and it pulls air from the Pacific Ocean, a high-pressure area.
As warm air rises from the desert floor each day, it acts as a vacuum and our valley receives moisture-laden afternoon wind gusts peaking at 15-20 mph through an 18 mile gap in the western hills from the ocean, creating cool mornings and evenings which bookend intense mid-day sunshine.
